One Loop, Run Until The Numbers Move.

Ads, SEO, landing pages and tracking are not four services in our projects. They are four stages of the same funnel, and we only claim a stage is working when the stage after it improves too.

Traffic

High-intent Google Ads search terms, Meta Ads audiences and SEO clusters, bought and earned by keyword intent rather than reach.

Leads

Landing pages built per offer, forms shortened, WhatsApp as the primary reply channel, so enquiries arrive qualified.

Conversions

Offline conversion tracking sends booking data back to the ad platforms, so budget follows revenue instead of form fills.

Growth

Winning angles scale and losers stop. Monthly reporting shows spend, cost per lead and cost per booking side by side.

Selected Work

Five projects, each with the problem we inherited, the strategy we ran and the outcome after 90 to 180 days. Figures come from Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, GA4 and the client booking records.

Primary KPI

Cost per qualified enquiry

The challenge

Enquiries were arriving, but they cost too much and closed too rarely. Generic search terms like “Himachal tour package” were burning budget against national aggregators, the single contact form asked for eleven fields, and follow-up happened by email a day later, long after the traveller had booked elsewhere.

The strategy

01

Rebuilt search around routes, not regions

Campaigns split by itinerary: Shimla to Manali, the Spiti circuit, a Kasauli weekend, Kinnaur. Each got its own ad group, negatives and landing page, and aggregator-intent queries were excluded entirely.

02

Made speed the offer

“Day-by-day itinerary and one per-person price in 30 minutes” replaced “Enquire now” across ads and landing pages. The promise was measurable, so it was worth advertising.

03

WhatsApp-first capture

Three fields plus a WhatsApp button. Every enquiry opened a thread with the planner on duty, and dates plus group size were confirmed in the first two messages.

04

SEO for the off-season

Route guides and an off-season pricing page absorbed low-competition organic demand, cutting reliance on paid clicks in the two thinnest months of the year.

OTA commission saved a month

The challenge

Nine out of ten room nights came through OTAs at 18 to 22 percent commission. The property was fully visible on aggregator apps and nearly invisible on its own terms: no direct booking path, an outdated site, and a Google Business Profile with 40 photos, no posts, no offers and no replies to reviews.
Guests were finding the resort, then booking it somewhere else.

The strategy

Book-direct price parity. A published rate that is always cheaper here, with free breakfast, made the headline of every ad and every profile post.

A booking page, not a brochure. One page per room type with rates, availability and a WhatsApp concierge, loading in under two seconds on 4G.

Meta Ads by travel window. Weekend and long-weekend audiences from Chandigarh, Delhi NCR and Ludhiana, retargeted with the rooms they actually viewed.

A review engine. Post-checkout review requests plus replies within 24 hours, lifting the profile into the local map pack for resort near Shimla.

Where the bookings came from

Share of room nights, April versus October

Before, direct share
8% direct, 92% OTA
After, direct share
34% direct, 66% OTA
The OTAs still fill rooms, and that is fine. The difference is that a third of the inventory now sells at full margin, and the guest relationship starts with the resort instead of an app.

Case study 03

Mannat Dogra

Premium jewellery. Meta Ads, creative direction and catalog.

The challenge

A premium average order value fighting broad targeting. Reach was cheap and worthless: engagement came from bargain hunters, the catalog was untagged, and high-ticket buyers had nothing on the page that answered the only question that mattered, which is whether they could trust this at this price.

The strategy

Three creative angles ran against each other every fortnight, budget followed the winner, and the catalog was rebuilt so Advantage+ could do its job. Lookalikes were built off purchasers, never off page engagers.

Mountain Cliff Stays

Boutique stays. SEO, Local SEO and WordPress development.
A brand new site with no organic footprint, invisible for the searches that actually convert, such as stays in Kasauli and cottages near Shimla with a valley view. We built a location and experience page structure, fixed Core Web Vitals on a bloated theme, and pushed the Google Business Profile into the map pack.

Pilgrimage tours. Lead generation, funnels and Meta Ads.
Plenty of form fills, almost no bookings. We added qualifying questions to the instant form, routed every lead into a WhatsApp sequence within 60 seconds, and fed confirmed bookings back to Meta as offline conversions, so the algorithm optimised for travellers rather than clicks.

Meta Ads

Answered

Running lead ads for a 6-room homestay. Cost per lead is ₹38 which looks great, but most numbers are switched off or the person says they never filled anything. I have tried the higher intent option already.

Rohit Sharma, homestay owner in Kasauli

Performance marketing

Three changes, in this order. First, switch the form to a conditional flow: ask travel dates and group size before the phone number, so anyone tapping through by accident drops out. Second, turn on offline conversion tracking and upload the bookings that actually close each week, and Meta will start hunting for people who look like buyers instead of people who look like form fillers. Third, reply inside five minutes on WhatsApp rather than by phone. Cost per lead will rise, and cost per booking usually falls by a third.

Google Ads

Answered

My agency wants to move everything into Performance Max. I am worried I lose control of search terms and end up paying for brand traffic I would get anyway.

Aman Verma, tour operator in Manali

Google Ads

At that budget we would keep 70 percent in exact and phrase match search built around itinerary keywords, and give Performance Max the remaining 30 percent with brand terms excluded through an account-level negative list. Add asset group level reporting to Looker Studio so you can still see which themes pull. Do not let PMax run alongside a broad match campaign, because it will eat the cheap conversions and claim credit for them.

SEO and Local SEO

Answered

We have 180 reviews at 4.6, a complete profile and weekly posts. Aggregators still sit above us on maps for the searches with real volume.

Neha Bhatia, resort manager

Local SEO

Map pack ranking leans on proximity, prominence and relevance. You cannot move proximity, so work relevance: put the exact service phrase in your primary category, add secondary categories, and create a landing page on your own domain titled for the same phrase and linked from the profile. Then work prominence: get listed on Himachal tourism directories and local news, and reply to every review using the location name naturally. Six to ten weeks is a realistic window.

Landing pages and CRO

Answered

The current page is one screen with a form and the bounce rate is 71 percent. I am wondering whether a longer page with a day-by-day itinerary would help or hurt.

Ishita Rana, travel brand founder

TC

Conversion rate optimisation

Long, but structured. At that ticket size the visitor needs the day-by-day plan, what is included, what is not, the vehicle, the stay category and a cancellation policy before they will hand over a number. Keep a sticky enquiry bar so the form is never more than one tap away, and put the price above the fold rather than hiding it. Hiding price raises bounce, not enquiries.

WordPress and web dev

Answered

The site is two years old with a lot of plugins and a hero video. It loads fine on my laptop but is painful on 4G.

Karan Thakur, jewellery retailer

TC

ThinkClix Team

Web development

Fix first, because it is usually four things: replace the hero video with a poster image, convert images to WebP and set explicit dimensions, remove plugins that load site-wide for one page, and switch to a lightweight theme with Elementor kept only for layout. That normally lands 34 into the 70s. Rebuild only if the theme injects its own page builder on top of Elementor.

Lead generation

Answered

Half the team wants to call every lead immediately and half wants a WhatsApp message first. We have no data either way.

Divya Chauhan, operations at a stays group

TC

ThinkClix Team

Lead generation

Message first, call second. In travel and hospitality accounts we see WhatsApp answered far more often than a first ring from an unknown number, and the thread gives you dates, group size and budget in writing before anyone spends time on a call. Call the leads that reply. Track both and let the numbers settle the argument in three weeks.

Ask ThinkClix

Answered

This is the first time I am hiring an agency. I want to know what should have happened by month three so I can tell whether it is working.

Mehak Gupta, cafe and stays in Dharamshala

TC

ThinkClix Team

Strategy

Month one: tracking fixed, GA4 and conversion events verified, one landing page live, campaigns rebuilt and baseline numbers written down. Month two: enough conversion data to cut losers and scale winners, and cost per lead should be trending down. Month three: cost per booking, not cost per lead, becomes the reported number. If nobody has shown you a cost per booking by day 90, ask why.
